Fancy Dancers in New York Last summer, the Fancy Dancers
traveled to New York City, taking in world famous landmarks as the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and The Empire State Building.
Among the highlights, the Fancy Dancers were inspired by seeing The Phantom of the Opera and Billy Elliot, touring back stage
and meeting cast members. In addition, Fancy Dancers were given the distinguished honor of attending classes at Broadway Dance
Center and most notably, taking a tap class instructed by Thommie Retter, who starred as Mr. Braithwaite in Billy Elliot,
on Broadway. "It was an amazing experience for the girls, one they will cherish for the rest of their lives!"
