Fancy Dancers, Inc.

Fancy Dancers, Inc., is a community-based youth dance company based in Milpitas, California. Through the years, Fancy Dancers has entertained audiences in Florida, Las Vegas, New York and as far away as Australia, Fiji, Spain, France, England and Bermuda. They have performed for the USO and have entertained and represented their community at World Expo '88, World Expo '92 and Walt Disney World as part of the resort's 25th anniversary celebration. The Fancy Dancers have performed on stages for numerous cruise lines, amusement parks and sporting events. In 2007, Fancy Dancers traveled to Alaska where they performed and enjoyed the Alaskan culture and traditions. In 2009, Fancy Dancers toured Europe with a special return performance at Disneyland Paris. Fancy Dancers were among the first American community dance companies to perform at the park.

Baby I'm a Star - Gold/Outstanding Jazz, also, Special Judges Award for Facial Performance

Hep Cats - 1st Place/Overall Platinum, also Special Judges Award for Execution.

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy - 2nd place/Overall Gold

Fancy Dancers have competed for numerous local and national competitions. They have won such awards as County Grand Champions, State Grand Champions and DMC Overall Winners.

Recent Highlights: The Fancy Dancers returned from their European tour where they visited Italy, France, Tunisia and Spain. The dancers performed on the MSC Fantasia cruise ship as well as a performance at Disneyland Paris. The two-week tour provided the dancers not only with an opportunity to experience European culture first hand, but also with a chance to see the artform of dance as it was made famous in select areas such as Barcelona and Paris.
